The Sumter school board has scheduled another called meeting for Tuesday night at the district office.

The meeting will be mostly behind closed doors in executive session, according to the agenda, which was distributed Monday afternoon by a district spokeswoman.

In closed session, the board will discuss its current search for the district’s next full-time superintendent, the agenda states.

After returning to open session, the board may take action.

Tonight’s meeting begins at 6 p.m. and will be at the district office, 1345 Wilson Hall Road. Like all board-related meetings, the meeting is open to the public.

The meeting is the fifth for board members since Jan. 28, including two regularly scheduled board meetings, two special called meetings and a Policy Committee meeting last week.
