Sumter School Board Policy Committee to meet today

Sumter School District's advisory Policy Committee will have a virtual meeting today to consider adding a temporary policy for face coverings, among other items.

A district spokeswoman placed a meeting agenda online Wednesday for the media and the general public's use.

Since April 6, the district has kept all monthly school board meetings and committee meetings closed in-person to the public, due to COVID-19. All people wanting to attend the meeting this afternoon can do so via YouTube Sumter School District Board Meeting. The meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m.
