Sumter School District names executive director of student services

The district has named Veronne Davis as its new executive director of student services. She began the position on Sept. 30. Davis was most recently the principal of the ninth-grade academy at Dreher High School in Richland County School District One for three years. Prior to that position, Davis was a middle school principal for seven years.
