In addition to recently honoring its three finalists for district teacher of the year for next school year, Sumter School District also recognized its 23 other campus teachers of the year.

The list includes the following:

Elementary schools

Cherryvale Elementary, Dahlia Konnert;

Crosswell Drive Elementary, Juanice McLaurin;

High Hills Elementary, Lauren Dabbs;

Kingsbury Elementary, Annette McCaffrey;

Lemira Elementary, Samantha Smith;

Manchester Elementary, Nicky Pack;

Millwood Elementary, Kathy Lyons;

Oakland Primary, Lauren Weathers;

Pocalla Springs Elementary, Elizabeth Keefe;

R.E. Davis College Preparatory Academy, Carolyn Phillips;

Rafting Creek Elementary, Christi English;

Shaw Heights Elementary, Adrienne Kennedy;

Wilder Elementary, Regan Yates;

Willow Drive Elementary, Jaime Patterson;

The three finalists for district teacher of the year are:

Amy Chua of Alice Drive Elementary;

Steffanie Taylor of Chestnut Oaks Middle; and

Theresa Bailey of Sumter High.

The district will name one of the three finalists as 2020-'21 district teacher of the year in August, just before the new school year begins, according to administration.
