6:30 p.m. -- Lee Central vs. Lakewood
7:30 p.m. -- C.E. Murray vs. Crestwood
8:30 p.m. -- Manning vs. Sumter
Tickets are $7 per person
There will be three one-half scrimmages with the first one pitting Lakewood against Lee Central. The second one will have Crestwood taking on C.E. Murray at approximately 7:30, and the final contest will have Sumter taking on Monday at around 8:30.
Each half will consist of two 12-minute quarters and the scrimmages will be live, including the kicking game.
Admission is $7 per person.
Glaze finishes tied for 18th
GREENSBORO, N.C. - Former Sumter High School golfer Scott Glaze shot a 3 over par 74 in the final round of the 94th Carolinas Open at Starmount Forest Country Club on Thursday.
Glaze who was tied for eighth and was just four shots off the lead entering the final round, finished 10 strokes behind winner Jerry Haas of Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Glaze finished with a score of 1 under 212. He was tied with Aaron Black of Charlotte, Michael Hutcheon of High Point, North Carolina, Daniel Neveu of Pinehurst, North Carolina, Rohan Allwood of Prosperity and Sherrill Britt of West End, North Carolina.
Haas, who was tied for the lead after each of the first two rounds, shot a 3 under 68 to beat Tripp Summerlin of Summerfield, North Carolina, by three strokes with a score of 202. He and Summerlin were tied for the lead after two rounds.
Openings left in Churches Challenge
A few openings remain for the afternoon sessions of the 19th annual Churches Challenge Golf Tournament and Praise Rally on Aug. 24-25.
The cost is $45 per golfer and includes the praise dinner on Friday as well as lunch and beverages on Saturday.

Sumter Touchdown Club seeking members, sponsors
The Sumter Touchdown Club presented by FTC is looking for new members and sponsors for the start of its 29th season, which is set for Friday, Aug. 31.
Membership is open to the public. The fee is $100 per year and includes a full buffet breakfast from Shoney's each week along with the ability to participate in all that the TD club offers. Sponsorships are $200 per year.
