Posted

On November 7th, 1918, The Third Army activated in France, only five days before the end of hostilities during World War 1. Today, the heritage of General Patton's own remains through the U.S. Army Central, which is currently headquartered at Shaw Air Force Base with more than 600 soldiers here at home and 20,000 stationed in the Middle East. Today, ARCENT celebrated its 100th birthday with a living history demonstration and tour of historical artifacts in the halls of its headquarters, and a very special guest connected to General Patton himself.
