Sumter Today: Sumter High School students hold a soccer tournament for a good cause

Instead of taking a break this weekend, a group of Sumter High School students hosted a seven-team soccer tournament at Patriot Park, with all the proceeds going to the American Cancer Society. The event was part of the CAS class that IB diploma students take, which encourages them to lead community service projects. Doing so helps both a charity of their choice and helps students learn life skills.
