Sumter Today: R.E. Davis receives a painting grant through the Cultural Commission

The Sumter County Cultural Commission recently awarded a $500 grant to R.E. Davis College Preparatory Academy to brighten the common areas. The project was developed to serve the school's "college-going" culture at the newly formed K-8 magnet school, and students helped paint murals and quotes to brighten the school's common areas and promote a positive proactive, student-led school environment.
