Sumter Today: An educational partnership creates an engineering partnership at Alice Drive Middle School

David Tudors is the academic manager for Central Carolina Technical College, and he stared a partnership with Alice Drive Middle and Elementary School to bring AutoCad curriculum to teach seventh-graders about computer aided design and drafting software in an effort to promote STEM skills. A 21-year-old engineering design technology major is serving as the teacher, and we stopped by Alice Drive when CCTC gave the middle school a 3-D printer to learn more about the program.
