Sumter Today: Sumter honors our fallen service men during two annual Memorial Day events

Sumter is known for its uncommon patriotism, and they showed it on Monday during two annual Memorial Day commemorations. The day kicked off with a ceremony honoring those who have made the ultimate sacrifice serving and protecting our country. Then veterans were invited out to a fish fry at south Sumter park that brought children and seniors together, and we stopped by both to see how they went.
