Sumter Today: Sumter’s first responders commemorate Patriot Day

Today marks the 18th anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks, and to commemorate the day, first responders from the Sumter Fire Department, police department and sheriff’s office gathered at the Sumter Public Safety Complex for a ceremony.
