Sumter Today: Porches of Sumter welcomes gives us a tour of Sumter’s historic homes

The annual Porches of Sumter commenced last night with good food and better company. Each year, the Greater Sumter Chamber of Commerce puts the event on the showcase some of Sumter’s beautiful homes in the historic district and delicious dining and catering options. Each home had a different food item, and there was even live entertainment at Patriot Hall.
