Sumter Today: The museum holds its annual oyster roast

The Sumter County Museum holds events throughout the year, but the fall oyster roast is their biggest fundraiser of the year. Tables of steamed oysters were refilled all night for both shucking aficionados and amateurs alike, and people could also enjoy homemade chili and live entertainment, all supporting the museum and its educational programming.
