Sumter Today: An elementary school earns national recognition

Alice Drive Elementary School recently joined a prestigious group of schools that has earned national STEM certification. That means teachers, administration and students spent multiple years working toward a curriculum that focuses on science, math, technology and engineering-based learning that will better prepare children for jobs. We stopped by the school to see what they’ve done and to congratulate them on a milestone well-earned.
