Sumter Today: Shaw Heights Elementary celebrates Arbor Day

Shaw Heights Elementary School showed their appreciation for our Earth recently by celebrating Arbor Day and the city’s recognition as a Tree City USA recipient. They made signs about why they think trees are good for the planet and heard from the chief of natural and cultural resources on Shaw Air Force Base.
