Sumter Today: Students shadow at the Sumter Fire Department

Sumter School District students participated in a career shadow day yesterday, and we caught up with some middle and high schoolers who were with Sumter Fire Department Fire Prevention Specialist Selena Smith. Smith brought the students around to different groups in Sumter that the fire department has to maintain relationships with, including us. She talked about the value of community partnerships and how it helps make Sumter safer.
