The Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston’s health care system conducted testing at the Sumter County Civic Center, 700 W. Liberty St., after first opening a site earlier this week in Columbia at Eau Claire High School for one of the hardest-hit ZIP codes in the state. The free mobile sites are meant to reach underserved and rural populations experiencing barriers to health care access for COVID-19 screening.
