Sumter Today: A manufacturer in Manning adapts to help itself and other businesses during the pandemic

Businesses across the nation are looking for ways to stay open and adapt to address concerns from the coronavirus, and one manufacturer in Manning stepped up to the plate to help its own company and others. Advanta Southeast is a metal fabrication manufacturing company based in Clarendon County. They teamed up with Verifyii, a software company in Greenville, to help produce a kiosk that detects a person’s body temperature without having to make another person conduct a temperature check. We stopped by the facility last week to learn more about how the Verifyii Elevated Body Temperature Screening Platform.
