Sumter Today: Chestnut Oaks Middle School celebrates being removed from the states priority list.

Under the every student succeeds act, the state department of education is required to identify schools performing in the lowest 10 percent as priority schools. They’re given funding and programs to help improve their achievement, and chestnut oaks middle school just celebrated its removal from the list. We dropped in for their celebration and got to learn a little about what they have been doing to improve.
