An additional 161 cases were announced Thursday by the S.C. Department of Health and Environmental Control, bringing the state total of people who have tested positive for COVID-19 to 4,917.

Of those who have been sickened, 150 have died, including an additional 10 victims whose deaths were announced Thursday. There were no new deaths in the tri-county area.

Sumter County is now at 207 confirmed cases, Clarendon is at 151, and Lee is at 45.
