Sumter Today: Morris College Opens a New Cybersecurity Lab

As part of their First Annual Charter Day Celebration, Morris College held a ceremony to mark the opening of the John L. Scott, Jr. Institute of Network Information, Technology, and Security on campus. Representative Scott has been spearheading the campaign of South Carolina Institutes of Innovation and Information. These institutes, established on each of SC's seven HBCU's, aim to provide students the resources and opportunities they need to solve tomorrow's problems in growing fields.
Sumter Today is presented by the Sumter Opera House, University of South Carolina Sumter, and Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital.
