Sumter Today: Pirates invade the Sumter County Museum

The Charles Towne Few is a group of historical reenactors, which is a seemingly typical group that the Sumter County Museum would normally enlist to provide hands-on, educational activities and demonstrations to the public. But, this weekend, the museum’s usual Backcountry Homestead took a turn away from early South Carolina life to welcome a band the band of pirates.
