Sumter Today: Sumter’s newest public school welcomes its staff to campus

Liberty STEAM Charter School is Sumter County’s first-ever public charter school, and it’s set to open its classrooms this August.
The school’s leadership has been assembling a team of educators and staff to lead their first students, which will be kindergarteners and first graders this year before the school expands by a grade each year.
Liberty held a roundtable get team building get together, and we stopped by to learn more about their progress.
