Lt. Selena Ruth Smith of the Sumter Fire Department led an ice cream party at Rafting Creek Elementary for second grade students that took part in their fire safety program. She and other firefighters have been visiting Rafting Creek for three years to educate students on the importance of fire safety and preparation.
