Sumter Today: We learn about National Pet Fire Safety Day

Today is National Pet Fire Safety Day, and the Sumter Fire Department is taking the time to teach about pet safety in heated situations like house fires, fireworks and hydration. When we stopped by the department, we also got to meet one of their firefighter’s Dalmatians to hear about the history of the fire dog.
