There are now 4,608 South Carolinians to have been confirmed with the virus, 135 of whom have died. Sumter County’s 14 additional cases announced Tuesday bring it to 199 confirmed cases and six deaths (though Sumter's coroner said Tuesday the number is 10 and that DHEC may be delayed in confirming official numbers or finishing investigations), and Lee County has had five of its 41 residents who have tested positive die.
