A Sumter woman is wanted following a shooting that left two injured late Saturday.

Kamaree Jichole Coulette, of Hauser Street, is wanted on charges of attempted murder, according to Tonyia McGirt, public information officer for the Sumter Police Department.

At around 11:30 p.m., Coulette and a 21-year-old woman were reportedly arguing during a gathering at Eastwood Park off Boulevard Road. The suspect pulled a gun and fired, striking the woman and a 29-year-old man, who was not the intended target, before driving away from the scene, McGirt said.

An initial investigation indicated the incident stemmed from an ongoing dispute between Coulette and one of the victims, McGirt said.

Both victims suffered non-life-threatening injuries, McGirt said, and an investigation is ongoing.

Anyone with information that can help locate Coulette is asked to contact the Sumter Police Department at (803) 436-2700 or provide information anonymously by calling Crime Stoppers at 1- 888-CRIME-SC, online at P3tips.com or by downloading the P3 Tips app for mobile devices.
