Sumter's Vision in Progress to hold 1st meeting of 2019 on Wednesday morning
Sumter City-County Planning Department Director will be the guest speaker at the Vision in Progress meeting on Wednesday.

Wednesday will be the first meeting of the year for Vision in Progress, which plans to kick off the year with a bang.
The guest speaker will be George McGregor, Sumter City-County Planning Department director, who will discuss the Sumter 2040 Comprehensive Plan and give an update on Capital Penny Sales Tax projects. The 2040 plan will cover developments on Manning Avenue and Lafayette Drive and Main Street corridors. The public is asked to come, ask questions and get answers.
VIP's meeting will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. at the James E. Clyburn Intermodal Transportation Center.
