MANNING -- Taningra P. Frierson Ceasar, 33, died Friday, Feb. 29, 2008, at Tuomey Regional Medical Center, Sumter.

Born May 23, 1974, in Houston, Texas, she was a daughter of the Revs. William J. Frierson Sr. and Delaney K. Walker Frierson. She accepted Christ as her Savior and joined Green Hill Missionary Baptist Church and was very active with the Sunday school, junior ushers and young adult choir. She later joined her father's church, Lovely Hill Baptist Church, Holly Hill. She received her formal education in the public schools of Clarendon County and graduated from Manning High School in 1993. She continued her education at Victoria Community College, Victoria, Texas, where she received her certification as a certified nurse assistant. She was employed with MAU at Bosch Facility in North Charleston.

She is survived by her daughter, Delaney Kennae Frierson; a son, Peyton William Frierson of the home; parents, the Revs. William J. and Delaney K. Walker Frierson of Manning; two sisters, Ingra LaTriese (Stephen) Talley of Portsmouth, Va., and Lula Josetta Frierson of Orangeburg; two brothers, Kelvin Linard Frierson of Manning and William James (Hannah) Frierson Jr. of Orangeburg; maternal grandfather, Fred Walker of Houston; godmother, Della N. Miller of Alcolu; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Haskell Sr. and Lula Hilton Frierson, and maternal grandparents, Ruth Mary Walker and Arthur and Josie M. Walker.

The remains will be placed in the church at noon Wednesday.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Lovely Hill Baptist Church, 639 Hesseman Ave., Holly Hill, with the Rev. William J. "W.J." Frierson, pastor and eulogist, the Rev. Delbert H. Singleton, presiding, assisting the Rev. A.W. Goforth II, Minister Priscilla Lambright, Minister Ronald Summers, Minister David Woods Jr., Dr. N. Lamont Newsome and the Rev. Alice L. Ridgill. Burial will follow in the Green Hill Missionary Baptist Church cemetery, Alcolu.

Viewing will be held from noon to 8 p.m. today.

The family is receiving friends at the home of her parents, the Revs. William J. and Delaney K. Walker Frierson, 3798 S.C. 260, Manning.
