LEXINGTON – Thomas Sumter Academy's varsity boys basketball team improved to 4-2 in SCISA Region II-2A with a 54-53 victory over Northside Christian Academy on Friday at the NCA gymnasium.
Zach Fugate led the Generals, 7-6 on the season, with 13 points and four assists. Dante Linder and Eli Kessinger both had 12 points, while Tyler Millwood had nine points, 10 rebounds and three blocked shots.
Darius Porter and Trenton Jordan both had 10 points to lead Northside.
Lee Central 78
BISHOPVILLE – Lee Central remained undefeated in Region IV-2A with a 78-37 victory over Buford on Friday at the LC gymnasium.
JaVonte McCloud led the Stallions, who improved to 14-3 overall and 6-0 in region play, with 14 points. DaVeon Thomas had 13 and DeMarcus Smith had 12.
C.E. Murray 68
Scott’s Branch 55
SUMMERTON – Scott’s Branch lost to C.E. Murray 68-55 on Friday at the SBHS gymnasium.
Terrence Yon led the Eagles with 24 points. Antavious Stukes and Daezhon Dingle both had seven and Marquis Thomas had six.
Twanye Butler led CEM with 23 points. Corey Scott had 16 and Sean Swinger 12.
On Tuesday in Summerton, Scott’s Branch lost to Bethune-Bowman 61-52.
Thomas led SB with 16 points, while Yon added 13. Amonte Brown and Dingle both had seven.

Laurence Manning Academy improved to 5-3 with a 38-32 victory over Wilson Hall on Friday at Nash Student Center.
Gabe Harris led LMA with 15 points. Austin Deppa had nine, while Kyle Horton and Denzell Sigler both had six.
Wise Segars paced WH with 14 points. Evan Hoffman had 10 and Nathan Harris seven.

SUMMERTON – Scott’s Branch High School defeated C.E. Murray 17-10 on Friday at the SBHS gymnasium.
Nyquan Lee led the Eagles with seven points.

MYRTLE BEACH – Sumter High School defeated Carolina Forest 49-32 on Friday at the CFHS gymnasium.
Jackson Hoshour led the Gamecocks with 11 points. Tyleek Craft added 10.

BISHOPVILLE – Lee Central High School lost to Buford 53-43 on Friday at the LCHS gymnasium.
Daurrion Kelly led the Stallions with 11 points. Naquan Peeples added eight points and 13 rebounds and Delonzon Johnson had eight points.
B TEAM BASKETBALL
Wilson Hall 29
Laurence Manning 26
Wilson Hall improved to 9-3 with a 29-26 victory over Laurence Manning Academy on Friday at Nash Student Center.
Doc Walker led the Barons with 14 points and six rebounds. Jackson Duvall had nine points and four assists, while William Reese had six rebounds and Dylan Richardson had four assists.
Bryce Accord led LMA with eight points and Davis Campbell had six.
Clarendon Hall 40
Patrick Henry 32
SUMMERTON – Clarendon Hall improved to 4-1 with a 40-32 victory over Patrick Henry on Thursday at the CH gymnasium.
Kole Elliott led the Saints with 21 points. Wilder Robinson had eight and William Rogan added six.
On Wednesday in Summerton, Clarendon Hall defeated Holly Hill 31-15. Rogan led the way with 12 points. Elliott had 10 and Trey Bagnal added seven.
