TIMOTHY BAXTER

Timothy Baxter, 64, son of the late James Ernest Baxter and ElleNora Singleton Baxter, was born on June 27, 1960, in Sumter. He departed this life on Friday, May 9, 2025, at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital, Sumter.

Public viewing will be held on Thursday, May 15, 2025, from 2 to 6 p.m., and family visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. at Job’s Mortuary Inc.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 16, 2025, at Antioch UME Church, 10026 Old River Road, Pinewood, with the Rev. Lawrence E. Myers Sr., pastor and eulogist, and the Rev. Denzel J. Hampton, presiding.

Interment will follow in Antioch Memorial Gardens, Pinewood.

Family will receive friends at the home, 1172 Singleton Drive, Pinewood, starting on Wednesday, May 14, 2025.
