TIMOTHY PAUL DEGEN SR.
Timothy Paul Degen Sr., 66, husband of Beverly Weatherly Degen, died Saturday, Sept. 7, 2019, at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital.
Born in Sacramento, California, he was a son of Mary Sue Parnell Degen and the late Vincent J. Degen. Mr. Degen was employed by BI-LO Grocers. He was a graduate of Clemson University and was an avid Clemson fan.
Surviving are his wife; his mother; a son, Timothy Paul Degen Jr.; a granddaughter, Leah Catherine Degen; two brothers, Jerry Degen and Philip Degen; two sisters, Teresa Degen and Barbara Brown; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. David Richardson officiating. Burial will be at Evergreen Memorial Park cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 9 to 10 a.m. Wednesday at Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home prior to the service.
