Funeral Services for Timothy "Pork Chop" Wright will be held at noon on Saturday at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, 182 S. Pike East, Sumter, with the Rev. Dr. Aurelia Hill, pastor, and the Rev. Jeanette Collins-Murray officiating. Interment will follow at Orangehill Independent Church Cemetery.

A public viewing will be held from 1 to 6 p.m. today at the mortuary.

Timothy was born on June 17, 1961, to the late Sammie Sr. and Delia Lou Crosby Wright.

Timothy Wright was also preceded in death by his brother, Joseph Wright; and grandmother, Rosa Lee Crosby.

Timothy received his wings on Monday, Feb. 3, 2020, in Sumter.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories: life companion, Catherine Muldrow; four sisters, Lula Mae Young, Delores (Woodrow) McKnight, Elizabeth Ball and Bertha Thomas; one brother, Sammie Wright Jr.; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family is receiving friends at 605 W. Liberty St., Sumter.
