TRACIE LAVONNE SANDERS

Tracie "Sall" Lavonne Sanders, 51, departed this earthly life on Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2019, at Providence Health Hospital, Columbia.

Born on Jan. 25, 1968, in Sumter County, she was a daughter of the late Ernest and Earlene Dinkins Sanders. She was educated in the public schools of Sumter County and was a graduate of Hillcrest High School Class of 1987. Tracie's Christian life teaching began at an early age at Rafting Creek Baptist Church, Rembert. She later moved her membership to Pine Grove AME Church under the leadership of Pastor Dinkins.

Tracie leaves to cherish her memories: her son, Zedrick (Cierre) Sanders of Sumter; one brother, Derrick (Deborah) Sanders of Pike Road, Alabama; five grandchildren; five godchildren; 12 aunts; five uncles; a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive relatives and friends at the home of her son, 31 White St., Sumter.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today at Pine Grove AME Church, 41 Pine Grove Road, Rembert, with the Rev. Lorenzo Dinkins, pastor, eulogist.

The remains will be placed in the church at 1 p.m.

Burial will be at Pine Grove AME Church Cemetery.
