Members of the Sumter Rotary Club honored several of their members at their Monday meeting.
Travis McIntosh was awarded the Rotarian of the Year award in recognition of his distinguished service, loyalty and devotion to the ideals of Rotary, according to a news release. He was supported in attendance by his wife and three sons.
Scott Horton was recognized with the Avenue of Service Award, which honors a Rotarian who participates in service activities in one of the five Avenues of Service - club, vocational, community, international and youth service.
South Carolina Supreme Court Justice George C. "Buck" James was the speaker for the meeting.
