Three teens are facing charges for allegedly taking an undisclosed amount of cash from a Little Caesars employee at gunpoint in a bank parking lot on Friday. Two of the suspects were also employees of the restaurant.

Shaun Rafael Enrique Parker Jr., 18, of West Sherwood Drive and Justice Reese Green, 19, of Robin Hood Avenue, are accused of approaching the pizza restaurant employee who was walking across the parking lot at BB&T on North Guignard Drive to make a cash deposit before 10 a.m.

According to a release from Sumter Police Department, the employee was approached by two men, whose faces were covered, while one of the suspects pointed a handgun.

The two suspects ran to a vehicle parked near the bank after the alleged robbery.

The third suspect, 18-year-old Keishawn Lavaughn Brown of Whiffet Lane, a manager of the restaurant, was at work and helped count the money that would be deposited before alerting Parker and Green that another manager was en route to the bank, said Tonyia McGirt, public information officer for the police department.

Parker, also employed by the restaurant, and Green then carried out the armed robbery before meeting with Brown and dropping off a portion of the stolen cash, she said.

Brown is charged with accessory before the fact of a felony, criminal conspiracy and possession with intent to distribute marijuana. He was released on a $37,500 surety bond.

Parker is charged with unlawful carrying of a pistol, criminal conspiracy, armed robbery and possession of a weapon during a violent crime. He remains at Sumter-Lee Regional Detention Center pending a $31,000 surety bond.

Green is charged with criminal conspiracy and armed robbery. He remains at Sumter-Lee Regional Detention Center pending a $25,000 surety bond.

All three suspects are required to wear GPS monitoring devices upon release.

McGirt said the investigation is ongoing.
