This is the third year in a row the campus ranked second in the state and the second year it ranked fifth in the nation by Niche.
"Working with our team at USC Sumter, I know the effort and dedication that is put forth every day to make sure our students have the support and resources they need to have successful outcomes," said Michael Sonntag, USC Sumter campus dean, in a news release. "Being ranked highly and recognized by Niche for their hard work further legitimizes our value to Sumter, our larger service area, and the state."
The ranking, along with other 2020 Best Colleges rankings, can be found at www.niche.com.
Niche analyzed 3,461 colleges to create the rankings. Niche ranked schools based on the aspects of campus life, including academics, student life and value.
The rankings are based on analysis of academic, admissions, financial and student life data from the U.S. Department of Education along with reviews from students and alumni.
