VICTORIA LOUISE SINKLER

Victoria Louise Sinkler, 47, was born on Feb. 16, 1972, in Sumter, a daughter of Lucienda James Law Sinkler and the late Jim Henry Sinkler. She departed this life on Sunday, June 23, 2019, at Prisma Health Richland Hospital in Columbia.

Victoria was a 1990 graduate of Hillcrest High School and the Sumter County Career Center, where she studied food service. She was employed by Eaton Electrical for six years. Victoria became a member of Union Missionary Baptist Church in Wedgefield at an early age.

She leaves to cherish her memory: one son, Jamar Jerome Peterson; three sisters, Elizabeth Law and Barbara Sinkler, both of Sumter, and Marcelline Sinkler of Charlotte, North Carolina; three brothers, Tony Law and Jimmy Sinkler, both of Sumter, and Curtis Sinkler of Tulsa, Oklahoma; a nephew and niece reared in the home, Travis L. Sinkler and Shaketia Sinkler; aunts, Elouise Sinkler and Carleen Law, both of Sumter, and Mary Davis of Wedgefield, Gloria Davis, Pearl Hopkins, Della Clark and Hellen Sinkler, all of Baltimore, Maryland; uncles, Joseph Clark of Baltimore, Albert Ilene Shaheed of Pasadena, Maryland, Stephen Law Jr. of Wedgefield and Hallie Law of Sumter; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Victoria was preceded in death by one sister, Bobbie Jean Sinkler; one brother, Donell Deckine Sinkler; and grandparents, Laura Law, Stephen Law Sr., Lucille Sinkler Dow, John Henry Sinkler and Frank Clarks.

Public viewing will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. today at Job's Mortuary.

Ms. Sinkler will be placed in the church at 1 p.m. on Monday for viewing until the hour of service.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday at Salem Chapel & Heritage Center, 101 S. Salem Ave., Sumter, SC 29150, with Elder Robert Garrett officiating. Interment will follow at Aycock Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the home, 1069 S. St. Paul Church Road, Sumter, SC 29150.
