VIRGINIA DWYER

Virginia Dwyer, a daughter of the late John Henry Thomas and Dora M. English, departed this life on Saturday, Sept. 28, 2019, at Prisma Health Richland Hospital in Columbia.

She was born on March 13, 1951, in Sumter County. She was educated in the public schools of Sumter County.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories: her loving mother, Dora English of the home of Sumter; five sisters, Ida (Lee) Taylor, Linda Dwyer, Debra Brady and Jane English, all of Sumter, and Susan Barker of Kansas City, Missouri; two brothers, Jeffery English and John English, both of Sumter; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Graveside services will be held at noon today at Bradford Cemetery, Sumter, with the Rev. Dr. Lewis Walker Jr. officiating.
