VIRGINIA FORD BUTLER

Virginia Ford Butler, 87, widow of Ernest Butler, was born on Jan. 19, 1934, in Sumter, a daughter of the late Woodrow and Geneva Pearson Ford. She departed this life on Saturday, Sept. 18, 2021, at Henrico Doctors Hospital in Richmond, Virginia.

Mrs. Butler will be placed in the church at noon on Saturday for viewing until the hour of service.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday at Jehovah Missionary Baptist Church, 803 S. Harvin St., Sumter, SC 29150 with Pastor Marion H. Newton, eulogist, and Pastor Ricky Simmons officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Memorial Park.

Job's Mortuary Inc., 312 S. Main St., Sumter, is in charge of arrangements.
