WADE R. REYNOLDS JR.

Wade R. "Buster" Reynolds Jr., 95, husband of the late Frances M. "Sook" Reynolds, died on Sunday, Feb. 3, 2019, at the Dorn VA Medical Center in Columbia.

Born on Oct. 8, 1923, in Sumter, he was a son of the late Wade R. Reynolds Sr. and Hazel Ann White Reynolds. He was a member of St. John United Methodist Church and retired from the U.S. Postal Service after 28 years. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of World War II.

Survivors include a son, Wade R. Reynolds III of Lynchburg; a daughter, Beth Reynolds Williams (John) of Newport News, Virginia; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday in the Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Larry Brown officiating.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday at the home of his granddaughter, 519 Mimosa Road, Sumter.
