WALLACE WRIGHT

Wallace "Big Dog" Wright was born on March 15, 1952, in Lynchburg, Lee County, to the late Woodrow and Lottie Mae Edmond Wright.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Willie James Wright; and one sister, Julia Ann Wright Sims.

Mr. Wallace "Big Dog" Wright departed this earthly life and gained his heavenly wings on Monday, June 10, 2019, at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital.

Wallace leaves to cherish his precious memory: his devoted wife, Cynthia Jones Wright; three children, Chata (Randy) Seegars, Quentin (Lauren) Jones and Justin Wright; two grandchildren, Heaven Blakney and Zacchaeus Seegars; five brothers, Bobby Wright, Willis Wright, Roosevelt (Shirley) Wright, Dennis Samuel and Willie Samuel; two sisters, Minnie Pearl Lyde and Zelda Spann; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Memorial services for Mr. Wright will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday at Quinn Chapel AME Church, 2400 Queen Chapel Road, Sumter, with the Rev. Jerome McCray, pastor, officiating.

The family is receiving friends at 1022 E. Sherwood Drive, Sumter.
