Wanda Darlene Trimnal Ellis, age 63, wife of 33 years to John C. "Tony" Ellis, died on Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2020, at her residence.
Born in Kershaw County, she was a daughter of the late Alvin and Jossie Scott Trimnal. Wanda worked for many years as a dispatcher for Food Lion. As a hobby, she enjoyed collecting ceramic dolls. Her true joy in life came from spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be remembered as a very loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Surviving in addition to her husband Tony are one son, Johnny Russell Smith of Orangeburg; one daughter, Scoshi Darlene Lane of Sumter; one brother, Randy Trimnal of Davis Station; a cousin, Cathy Hartly of Great Falls; four grandchildren, Hunter Dollard, Maddison Grace Dollard, Johnny Russell Smith Jr. and K.K. Smith; and three great-grandchildren, Bently, Anna Belle and Tate.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Rusty Trimnal.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday at the Bullock Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. William K. Knotts officiating.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10 to 11 a.m. on Friday at Bullock Funeral Home.
