Wilson Hall seniors receive Advanced Placement Scholar awards

Wilson Hall seniors Jada Hall, Sumter Cooper and Sarah Sonntag (pictured) received the Advanced Placement Scholar with Distinction Award because of their performance on the college-level AP Exam. To earn this honor, students must earn an average grade of at least 3.5 on all exams taken and grades of 3 or higher on five or more exams. The following 2022 graduates also received this honor: Rachel Bostic, Kieran Cosden, Kate Eichburg, Ashlyn Goode, William Hardee, Mary Jones, Annie Lauzon, Lucy Matthews, Hugh McLaurin and Madi Smith. Thirty-nine Wilson Hall students earned recognition from the College Board for their achievement, and 90 students became eligible to receive college credit. Wilson Hall offers 22 AP courses.
