Where to get a free COVID-19 vaccine, test in Sumter, Lee, Clarendon counties: Sept. 28-Oct. 3

All South Carolinians aged 12 and older are eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine and can schedule appointments. Currently, Pfizer is the only vaccine available to those aged 12-17, and it has received full authorization from the FDA for those aged 16 and older. It still has emergency authorization for those aged 12-15. All three vaccines - Pfizer, Moderna and Janssen/J&J - are available to those aged 18 and older.

- Sept. 30: Dollar General, 152 W. Willow Grove Road, Lynchburg, SC. 29080. Open 9 a.m.-noon. Walk-ins welcome. First come, first served.

Lee County

DHEC-sponsored COVID-19 testing will be open on weekdays at the following locations from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. unless otherwise noted.

- Sumter County Health Department, 105 N. Magnolia St. * Wednesday: 9-11:30 a.m.

- Clarendon County Health Department, 110 E. Boyce St., Manning, SC 29102. * Tuesday 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
