WILLIAM JENKINSON
SUMMERTON - William Broughton Jenkinson, 75, died on Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2019, at his residence.
Born on Jan. 4, 1944, in Manning, he was a son of the late Marion Delmar Jenkinson Sr. and Mattie Broughton Jenkinson. He was a member of Andrews Chapel United Methodist Church.
He is survived by a son, William M. Jenkinson (Sonya) of Spartanburg; a daughter, Marie Churchwell of Summerton; his former wife, Debra Morvant; a brother, Johnny Jenkinson ("Teenie") of Summerton; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Marion Delmar Jenkinson Jr.; and two sisters, Doris J. Lowery and Elizabeth "Betty Ann" Keels.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday at Andrews Chapel United Methodist Church with the Rev. Will Oswald officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
Pallbearers will be John Mark Lowery, Chris Oswald, Bill Jenkinson, Ethan Jenkinson, Reese Wilson and Delmar Jenkinson.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service at the church.
