WILLIAM SADDLER

WEDGEFIELD - Funeral services for William "JR" Saddler will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday at LaGree AME Church, 2920 Kolb Road, Sumter, with the Rev. Jeanette Collins Murray, pastor, officiating. Interment will follow at Bradford Cemetery.

A public viewing will be held from 1 to 6 p.m. today at the mortuary.

William was born on Dec. 16, 1992, in Okinawa, Japan, to Sylvia K. Frierson and William J. Saddler.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, George E. Killian; and his great-grandparents, George H. Killian and Thomas and Margaret Hall.

He departed this life on Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2019, in Columbia.

William leaves to cherish his memory: his parents, Sylvia K. and Harvin Frierson, William and Megumi Saddler, Dewey and Trish Ballard; his siblings, Tanisha Saddler, Marcus Ballard, Dewey Ballard, Taylor Ballard, Zeni'a Ballard, Jay Twuan Frierson, Harvin Frierson and Amanda Frierson; grandparents, Mary E. Killian and Dollie Kinlaw; and a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.

The family is receiving friends at 5730 Alcott Drive, Wedgefield.
