Mr. Ernest and Mrs. Cherell Butler of Aiken and Mr. and Mrs. Jerome Williams of Saluda announce the engagement of their daughter, Amy D. Williams of Simpsonville, to Derrick L. Jordan of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Jordan of Sumter.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Geneva Forster and the late Samuel B. Forster Jr. of Aiken and Mr. Vannie Williams and the late Clara Williams of Saluda. She graduated from Aiken High School in Aiken, the University of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and from Winthrop University in Rock Hill with a Master's degree in Business Administration. She is employed as a planning purchasing manager at AFL in Duncan.

The bridegroom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ransom Richardson and the late Mr. and Mrs. Richard Jordan, all of Rimini. He graduated from Lakewood High School in Sumter, South Carolina State University with a degree in psychology and from the University of South Carolina with a Master of Social Work degree. He is the vice president of operations at Rogers Behavioral Health in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin.

The wedding is planned for June 26, 2021, in Mount Pleasant.
