WILLIE HEYWARD

Elder Willie Heyward, 81, husband of Lizzie Maple Heyward, was born on Sept. 25, 1939, in Wedgefield, a son of the late Stephen M. and Mary Duncan Heyward. He departed this life on Monday, Sept. 20, 2021, at Sumter Health & Rehab Center in Sumter.

Public viewing will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. today at Job's Mortuary.

Funeral services will be held at noon at Fellowship Church of God, 446 Chaney Grove Road, Timmonsville, SC 29161 with Pastor Gloria Bracey officiating.

Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends at the home of his son, 3730 Artesian Drive, Sumter, SC 29150.

Job's Mortuary Inc., 312 S. Main St., Sumter, is in charge of arrangements.
