WILLIE RICHARD FORD

Willie Richard Ford was born on March 3, 1952, a son of the late Willie McNeal "Pete" Ford and Blanch "Sister" Butler Ford. He departed this life on Sunday, Jan. 10, 2021, at his residence.

He leaves to cherish precious memories: his companion, Barbara Frierson of Sumter; a daughter, Carlita Ford and granddaughter of New York; six brothers, Kingmom M. Ford, Barrion T. Ford, Larry L. Ford, Karl B. Ford and Don M. Ford, all of Sumter, and Anthony L. (Ruby) Ford of Cleveland, Mississippi; and three sisters, Maxine Ford of Sumter, Frieda F. Madison of Baltimore, Maryland, and Marilyn W. Ford of Columbia.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. today at Salem Chapel & Heritage Center with Minister Kimberly Evans Wells officiating. Burial will follow at Bradford Cemetery.
